“  Before I entered the financial industry twenty years ago, I spent the first half of my career as a high school football coach and science teacher. If there’s one thing I learned about educators and coaches, it’s this: you’re so dedicated and passionate about your work, you don’t usually think about how much you earn. That’s an honorable mindset in the classroom and on the field, but it doesn’t always produce the best outcomes for your own financial future. 

My parents were hardworking business owners who assumed their social security would last them their entire lives, but they didn’t expect to live into their nineties and develop serious illnesses in their last days. I’ve known many educators who view their pension the same way, assuming it will last as long as they do and that it will cover all their bases, but that’s not always the case.

I believe hardworking people deserve a return for their life’s work, so I use my financial practice to help other educators, administrators, and business owners develop a game plan to maximize the return for their efforts.
